Campaign for 2006 ends, but the real work starts: The campaign for Insurance Commissioner may have ended, but the real work that needs to continue -- that of getting a real workers' compensation deal done and passing universal health care (again) and having the governor sign it, among others. I hope you'll join Larry Cafiero in getting it done in the days, weeks, months and years ahead. Also, mark your calendars for 2010 when we ramp up this campaign for the Insurance Commissioner's post one more time.

217,741 California voters got it right: Larry Cafiero got 217,741 votes as of Nov. 11, for 3.1 percent of the vote. Incidentally, Larry Cafiero was the highest vote-getter among the Green Party candidates in statewide races.
