Auto Insurance Companies - The Good and the Bad
This article is a review of the good and bad qualities of all major auto insurance companies. Sometimes companies you think are trustable, like Geico and Progressive, are actually crooks. I’m going to teach you about the good auto insurance companies and tell you about the ones you should avoid.
Geico
Geico Auto Insurance has horrible customer service and are quick to hurt the little guy if they can save a buck or two. They’re charming, yet sneaky about adding below-standard parts to your vehicle when in for repairs in order for them to save money. They also don’t pay medical bills until the lawsuit settles. It is easy to cancel, though, and easy to switch vehicles on accounts. When under review, 9 out of 12 customers had negative things to say about Geico.
Progressive
Progressive Auto Insurance is a little bit better than Geico. They have good customer service, but really high premiums and has a habit about not upholding their policies. They’re also dishonest and put off deals when they’re supposed to be helping the customer. 7 out of 12 customers had negative things to say about Progressive, however at least two of the positive reviews look as if they were paid to do it.
State Farm
State Farm Auto Insurance is rated the fourth worst auto insurance agency out of 4,000. They have poor customer service and uneducated staff. They don’t uphold their policies, avoid phone calls, and don’t really value your business unless you have several thousand dollars in premiums a year. Only 6 out of 12 customers had negative things to say about State Farm but in the broad view of things, State Farm Insurance is one of the worst agencies to do business with.
